St Kilda Wilds is a wilderness retreat for seekers and explorers in need of an escape from their daily lives. By experiencing the Scottish island of St Kilda, customers can stay in their own individual stone house that was once home to an original islander.
With an outdoor experience from the comfort of St Kilda Wilds, you can explore the craggy cliffs and wildlife while staying in a comfortable cottage.
THE CHALLENGE
To create a brand identity and associated applications for a new St Kilda Hotel. By reflecting the Scottish heritage and the secluded/escapism through the landscape.The hotel guests would be wildlife/wilderness enthusiasts seeking a new remote adventure.
The colour scheme reflects different elements of the island. Since St Kilda is often left off maps, I decided to create a map grid system within the design. By showing guests that St Kilda is an 'off the grid' wilderness retreat for adventurers intertwined with the history of the original St Kildan's.
